Rated highly, Midland RV Campground is one of the cheaper RV parks in the area, at least as far as their nightly price. ($40.00 with full hook-ups and cable.) 4. South Haven RV Park

One thing that, frankly, is noticeable about Midland RV Parks is that they’re relatively barren. We mean that there’s not a whole lot of nature, which is not surprising in this dry, arid part of Texas. However, at South Haven RV Park, they’ve done a fantastic job keeping the surrounding nature intact. Indeed, it’s their goal to preserve nature as much as possible. You’ll often see deer running through at dusk and dawn, and birds abound.

Plus, to keep RVers cool, there’s a lot of excellent shade trees on the property. By the way, if you’re interested in the history of oil in the United States, this is the RV park you should choose. It’s situated around actual, working oil rigs! Like many RV parks here in Midland, Midessa Oil Patch also has plenty of trees that offer cooling shade.
