National Storage Affiliates Trust indicated Core Funds From Operations per share rose 22.7 percent in 2015.
“2015 proved to be an excellent year for NSA,” said Arlen Nordhagen, the chief executive officer of NSA. “We are extremely pleased with our full-year results which reflect significant year-over-year growth across the board in Core FFO, NOI, same-store NOI, and same-store revenue. From an operational standpoint, full-year total revenue increased approximately 74% to $134 million and our full-year total portfolio average rent per occupied square foot increased approximately 8% to $10.62.”

Improvement measured during 2015
The improvement of Core FFO rose to $11.6 million, which translates to $0.24 per share in the fourth quarter of 2015. On a year-over-year basis, this is an increase of 14.3 percent for each share. A year ago at this time, the Core FFO was $4.2 million, or $0.21 per share.
For the full year, Core FFO was $35.8 million at $0.92 per share. This is an increase of 22.7 percent per share when compared year over year.
Acquisitions in 2015

Financial Market News noted that in the third quarter, Janus Capital Management acquired a stake in NSA.
Nordhagen went on to note that during the fourth quarter, NSA acquired 16 additional properties, and the deal was completed for approximately $70 million, according to the press release.
